Costumes Direct Returns Policy
Costumes Direct is dedicated to providing you with quality customer service. We want you to be 100% satisfied with the purchases that you make at Costumes-Direct.com. It is our policy that you may return merchandise purchased on our site for any reason within 14 days of delivery of a shipment for a refund, exchange or credit (See Holiday Merchandise Returns below for limitations on holiday specific purchases).
Note: No Shipping Charges Will Be Refunded. All refunds will be less shipping charges. Returned products are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
All merchandise returned to Costumes-Direct.com must be returned in the manufacturers’ original packaging (like new condition). The package must include all components and other items originally packaged with the merchandise. Upon receipt of your return we will gladly issue you an exchange, credit or refund your money to the original form of purchase.
All sales for clearance or merchandise flagged as **SALE ** product are final. No returns or exchanges will be made on these items.
Order cancellations must be done prior to shipment of product. All cancellations should be communicated through email to guest.service@costumes-direct.com or via toll free phone at (866) 439-2147 or (925) 672-8099.
Holiday Merchandise Returns:
Due to the seasonal nature of the merchandise that we carry, merchandise purchased before:
* Halloween cannot be returned for a refund, exchange or credit after Halloween (October 31st) has passed, even if it is within the (14) day return period. Halloween Costumes may not be returned after October 10th. Items purchased in any month other than October are subject to the normal 14 day return policy.
Product Abuse Disclaimer:
Items that are damaged due to improper handling, rough handling, electrical overloading, immersion in water and/or have broken bulbs cannot be exchanged and are not returnable or refundable.
Discrepancies between merchandise ordered and merchandise shipped:
Any discrepancies between what was ordered and what was received will be handled directly by the Scary Decorations guest service staff. Please email us within 3 days of the shipment receipt at guest.service@costumes-direct.com.

Costumes Direct Returns Procedure
In order to return merchandise you must first request a return authorization number from Costumes Direct. This is done by sending an email with the following information to guest.service@costumes-direct.com
* The Costumes Direct purchase order number.
* A brief description of the merchandise to be returned and why you would like to return it.
* How you would like to proceed (i.e. would you like to make an exchange for another product, or be issued a credit/refund?)
* A guest service professional will respond to your email or call you within 2 business days with a return authorization number and the address of where to send the product back.
* You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the merchandise to us.
After obtaining a return authorization number please is sure to do the following:
* Ensure that the authorization number is clearly marked on the outside of the box.
* Merchandise must be returned in the manufacturer’s original packaging with all components along with any promotional merchandise.
* Do not write on the product packaging or warranty cards.
* Any incomplete shipments will be refused (i.e. missing a return authorization number or missing product components)
* for your protection, we recommend that you fully insure your return shipment in case it is lost or damaged. Please select a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery.
* Once we receive your package your refund, exchange or credit less shipping charges will be processed within 7 days.
Defective Products:
Defective products can be returned directly to Costumes Direct within 14 days of the shipment receipt. There is no charge to the customer, but the Costumes Direct Returns procedure must be fully complied with (All returns have to be accompanied by a return authorization number). The merchandise returned will be replaced with identical merchandise only.

Costumes Direct doesn't just claim to offer lowest prices on the net for our products, we guarantee it! Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction! If you find a lower price offered on any exact product we offer contact us and we will not only meet that lower price, but offer an additional ten percent discount of the price difference!

*The item must be the exact same product as offered by Costumes Direct.
*This guarantee does not include products offered for sale on auction sites, special promotion sales or clearances.
*The lower priced item must be in stock and available for immediate shipment from the company offering it.
*Complete information including web site URL, company name and phone number must be provided to us for verification of the lower priced product offer.
To receive your discount, email or call us with all information at guest.service@costumes-direct.com and upon verification of the lower priced product and approval, we will issue a credit of 110% of the lower price difference upon your purchasing that product from us.
